Cynthia Schultz at 851 Music Studio in Benicia

A big thank you to Cynthia Schultz for bringing her harps to 851 Music Studio!
Cynthia Shultz performed a holiday harp concert at 851 Music Studio. Cynthia played an eclectic selection of holiday music on her pedal and Celtic harps.
Cynthia played music from her CD “Celestial Noel” and talked to the audience about the harps and their history. She also told about her personal musical journey and entertained questions from the audience in a small, intimate performance in the concert room at the Benicia music studio.
Schultz is a classically trained harpist and pianist who has been performing on both instruments since childhood. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, with B.S. degrees in music education and music therapy.
In addition to performing, Schultz maintains an active teaching schedule. She teaches the Celtic or lever harp. Besides teaching harp, she teaches piano and preschool music classes.
Schultz is on the faculty with Civic Arts Education in Walnut Creek. Seeing the need for children’s musical experiences to start before formal music lessons begin she researched, then began her preschool program “Notes to Grow On!” Schultz currently offers her program at Civic Arts Education in Walnut Creek.
Schultz is a certified early childhood music specialist and is a licensed Musikgarten teacher.
